I have known Kelvin for about 5 years now. In this market, it almost feels like a lifetime. Kelvin was first introduced to me by a very close friend who had benefited significantly from her property investments over her 3-year association with Kelvin and his wife Janet.

Always always, Kelvin brings an entirely fresh perspective when he is helping you evaluate deals.

His ability to maintain that fine balance, allowing his customers their own space and time to come to a decision and still ensuring they do not lose out on a deal due to excessive delay is an asset that’s rare and one which is so so valuable.

It was Kelvin, who first made me appreciate the value a great real estate agent can add and the primary reason why I hold such a positive view of the real estate agent community at large. Kelvin has strong work ethics. There was a time when one of the properties I was buying through Kelvin belonged to one of his relatives, and he made it a point to declare that upfront.

Kelvin and I have now been involved in 4 property transactions and there were 3 others that I wish we had as well. I have immensely benefited financially from his expert advice over the last four years. One of his earliest suggestions was for an estate I didn’t know existed until he took me there. It recently netted me a handsome six figure profit.

From 2008 – 2010, he stayed in constant touch as we touched the bottom and rose, regularly providing valuable market snippets and advice so I don’t exit cheaply. There were times when I found his advice on the property direction and transactions was about 6 weeks better than any other source of market data. In a moving market, 6 weeks can easily add or take a few hundred thousand from one’s pocket.

For me, Kelvin represents the frontline of market intelligence on Singapore property market. You can’t get better than this, you can’t get more data than this. I do not remember ever closing a transaction, be it rental, buy or sell without running the idea through Kelvin. A great business partner and a truly wonderful person, Kelvin continues to be the first name that comes to my mind when a friend asks for recommendation for a property expert.
